Q. What is your professional background / bio?
A. I have a Bachelor of Arts in both Accounting and Business Management as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree. I worked in Accounting and Operations Management for over 13 years before becoming a Financial Advisor at Summit Financial Group, Inc.
Q. Why have you chosen the financial services field as your occupation?
A. I feel God brought me to Summit. I enjoy helping individuals and families reach their financial goals in every aspect including improving their cash flow, planning for their retirement, as well as their children’s education. It has always been a passion of mine to help others achieve their goals through Biblically-based principles of money management.
Q. What do you enjoy doing while not working?
A. I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching / playing sports with my boys. I also enjoy mentoring young people and coaching the Loveland High School Girls Varsity Soccer team.
Q. Are you involved in any civic, community or church organizations?
A. I am involved with my church’s (Grace Chapel) outreach ministry, and a non-profit organization through Grace Chapel called Self-Sustaining Enterprises, Inc. "SSE's Vision is to provide food, education, and healthcare for millions of people around the world through Self-Sustaining campuses designed to equip them to fulfill their purpose in the world in which they live." I am also the Girls Varsity Soccer Coach for Loveland High School and train youth soccer teams for various clubs throughout the city.
Q. Are you married? Children, grandchildren?
A. My beautiful wife Emily and I have been married 13 years and we have four wonderful boys…Elijah (9), Isaiah (8), Levi (5), and Noah 2).
Q. What makes Summit different from all other financial institutions?
A. Their focus is on families and assisting them with all aspects of their financial health. They have a genuine desire to educate and help families achieve financial results through improved cash flow and security, while also assisting them in finding money they might be spending unknowingly or unnecessarily…because we know it is not just about rate of return. This approach allows clients to do the things they enjoy doing, while also helping them sleep better at night.
