Q. What is your professional background/bio?

A. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. My parents raised me in a very loving nurturing environment were faith in God and commitment to family was lived out daily. I am the oldest of 6 kids; my youngest sibling is 18 years younger than I am. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as a young man and decided to live my life based on what God wants not what I want. I attended Trinity College on a Volleyball scholarship, with the intention of going into engineering. During that time I realized that my strengths we in the area of business and finance, not engineering. My professional career started with Windsor Mortgage in Chicago. In the years following I continued to gain more business and financial experience. Jennifer and I married in 2000, my daughter Madeline was born in 2001. My family and I relocated to Cincinnati in 2002 to help start a family business with my in-laws. In 2004 I accepted the position of family financial advisor and certified college planning specialist with Summit Financial Group, Inc. My son Derek was born in 2005. My wife Jennifer is the group fitness coordinator at Tri Health Pavilion. We live in the wonderful community of Blue Ash and are members of Grace Church in Loveland. My professional licenses include Securities Series 6 & 63, Life, Health, Property, Mortgage Broker, Casualty, Variable Life & CCPS designation.
