I have 22 years of investment, technology and management positions with banks and insurance companies, including global banking and management responsibilities for staff located in Europe and Asia. I co-hosted “Dollars and Sense”, a financial call-in radio program on 55KRC for three years. I’ve been with Summit Financial Group for six years, assisting individuals in College Aid Planning.

Q. Why have you chosen the financial services field as your occupation?

A. Helping families with their finances provides me with great personal satisfaction. Educating people and enabling them to make sound financial decisions is simply a passion.

Q. What do you enjoy doing while not working?

A. Spare time is spent with my family, but when I’m on my own, it’s usually on the golf course, if you need a fourth, call me!

Q. Are you involved in any civic, community or church organizations?

A. Sandy, my wife of 25 years makes sure I stay involved. I’m always “volunteered” for something. She regularly organizes trips to “Tender Mercies”, a homeless shelter, where meals are provided. It’s a very satisfying experience to serve others in need, and one I’m happy that my children have participated in as well.

Q. Are you married? Children, grand children?

A. Grandchildren? Don’t push it. For now, I’m completely satisfied with my family of 5. Wife of 25 years, Sandy. 3 incredible children: Drew, 21: Rob, 19: and Lauren, 16.
